Title: NuKed-Klan Messaging System HTML Injection Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

NuKed-Klan is a web portal system. It is written in PHP.

NuKed-Klan messaging system is reported prone to a HTML injection vulnerability. It is reported that the issue exists due to a lack of sufficient input validation performed on the 'Image file URL' input field of the NuKed-Klan messaging form.

This may make it possible for an authenticated attacker to place HTML or script code within the 'Image file URL' field of a private NuKed-Klan message for another user. When the legitimate forum user attempts to view the message the malicious code will be interpreted by their browser in the security context of the
NuKed-Klan website.

Attackers may potentially exploit this issue to manipulate web content or to steal cookie-based authentication credentials. It may also be possible to take arbitrary actions as the victim user.
