3Com OfficeConnect ADSL Wireless 11g Firewall Router is a wireless network connectivity modem and router.
A remote denial of service vulnerability affects the 3Com OfficeConnect ADSL Wireless 11g Firewall Router. This issue is due to a failure of the application to handle anomalous network traffic.
The problem is reported to present itself when copious amounts of anomalous UDP traffic are targeted at the router. Apparently the router fails to handle the network traffic and crashes. Further information is not available, however this BID will be updated when more details are released.
An attacker may leverage this issue to cause the affected router to crash, denying service to legitimate users.
