Title: Intel NetStructure SNMP Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Severity: CRITICAL

Description:

Intel NetStructure devices are network load balancers and traffic directors. These devices are designed for businesses with multiple Web servers and locations, routing traffic to the best available site from a single URL.

It is reported that these devices contain an undisclosed buffer overflow vulnerability in their SNMP software.

This issue could be exploited to crash the devices, gain remote administrative privileges, or execute arbitrary code.

These devices are no longer supported by Intel, and therefore it is unlikely that a fix will be provided. Intel suggests disabling SNMP access to the devices.
