WLC800은 실내 및 실외 환경에서 수천 명의 사용자들에 대해 Voice over Wi-Fi와 같이 요구치 높은 무선 애플리케이션들을 지원합니다. 또한 컨트롤러 오류 발생 시에도 무중단 가용성 및 서비스 중단 없는 히트리스 페일오버(hitless failover)를 제공합니다. WLC800은 정책 실행 및 데이터 포워딩을 액세스 포인트에서 담당하도록 함으로써 트래픽 플로우를 최적화하고, 지연을 줄이며, 확장성을 보장합니다.
