Engineering, Furnish, and Installation (EF&I)
In addition to a full range of basic installation services, we offer Engineering, Furnish, and Installation Service, which includes extended services customized for each client and location.
Juniper Network EF&I Services
- Engineering Service - Provides site surveys, detailed installation documentations, Bill of Material specifications, and material ordering for the targeted installation work.
- Furnishing Services - Ordering, tracking, and shipping of installation materials and management of the procurement process.

Installation Service - Basic installation services in accordance with Juniper production installation procedures that can include any or all of the following:
- Equipment preparation
- Installation
- Handover
- Project Management Input for Juniper Service Deliverables
The customer is responsible for the following:
- Providing Juniper with the implementation plan that outlines the equipment to be installed at least five (5) business days prior to the site survey.
- Providing detailed information regarding location for installation of the Juniper Network element and details of building and installation layout.
- Verifying site readiness for installation and confirming with Juniper at least seven (7) business days prior to commencement of installation work.
- Address with Juniper any discrepancies found between the initial design document and other customer documentation, on the one hand, and the Site Survey Report, on the other hand. This must be done before Juniper can issue a quote for materials and installation services.
- Providing unobstructed, continuous access to sites and systems.
- Obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and consents that may be required for the installation to proceed in compliance with zoning, building, environmental, or health and safety laws, ordinances, rules, or regulations.
- Ensuring that the Juniper personnel onsite at any facility are furnished with working conditions that are safe, secure, and adequate in all respects.
- Identifying a project manager who will attend workshops, sign off on and confirm completion of the service.
