Engineering, Furnish and Installation (EF&I)

Juniper Network responsibilities

• Develop site survey
• Identify site contacts
• Determine job specifications and prepare method of procedure
• Prepare quote
• Develop site engineering requirements
• Furnish installation materials and manage procurement process
• Install equipment
• Perform installation inspection to ensure a quality installation
• Complete walk-through and final installation inspection with customer
• Provide site survey and installation deliverables

Customer responsibilities

• Site Survey Deliverables
• Provide all customer contact information a minimum of five days prior to site survey start date, including all information necessary for Juniper to perform a quality site survey in accordance with the customer's requirements

Installation Deliverables

• Sign method of procedures and any other documents in the requested amount of time
• Provide unobstructed access to sites and systems required for the performance of the work, and sufficient floor space to stage, store, and install equipment
• Provide design documents
• Provide AC or DC power source (as appropriate) within rack where equipment is to be installed and within reach of that equipment (unless equipment is intended to use only a DC power source)
• Provide access and escort (if needed) to facilities
• Provide purchase order to Juniper for all bill of materials items and approved expenses
• Sign off completion certificate
