• Mobile Backhaul: Our products offer service providers reduced operating expenses, improved scalability, and investment protection.
• Mobile Packet Core: Juniper enables a converged network for all L2 and L3 services. Mobile operators can adopt a cost-effective, scalable, all-IP routed MPLS core with IPv6 implemented in hardware, and scalable performance for quality of service, VPN, monitoring, and other advanced processing features.
• RAN Aggregation: The transition to IP RAN requires the aggregation of more and faster circuits, particularly in CDMA 2000 1x DO access networks. Our M Series delivers the required dense E1/T1 and above aggregation, high availability, and performance for IP radio access aggregation.
• Identity and Policy: Our Carrier AAA solution for WiMAX provides scalable, reliable, carrier-grade authentication, authorization, and accounting; mobility management; and roaming. The Juniper Networks Steel-Belted Radius servers are core components of mobile networks, combining centralized user authentication and access policy management with the performance and reliability to handle any traffic load.
• Secure Mobile Networks: Juniper Networks security platforms provide stateful inspection and policy enforcement, denial of service attack protection, and over billing attack protection to reduce risk.
• GGSN: Juniper and our partner, Ericsson, offer the J20 GGSN to provide a gateway between mobile core networks and external IP networks, such as corporate LANs and ISPs, providing connectivity to the Internet.
• Wi-Fi Public Wireless LAN (WLAN): Juniper Networks E Series Broadband Services Routers with the SDX300 Service Deployment System centralize control, service activation, and security at the service provider edge and provide a scalable, cost-effective architecture for differentiated services.
