The independent performance verification conducted by the European Advanced Network Test Center (EANTC) was commissioned by Juniper Networks to confirm the breakthrough capabilities of the new Junos Trio-based MX80 3D Universal Edge Router and new 16x10GbE line cards.
The EANTC validation report [PDF 449 KB] demonstrates that network operators, service providers, and enterprises can transform quality of experience and business economics with Junos Trio-based products.
Tested to have three-dimensional (3D) bandwidth, subscribers, and services scale, the MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers enable innovative services with premium user experience for a new breed of media-rich, high-performance applications.

- 1.440 Tbit/s measured in 1/6th of a rack (8.64 Tbit/s rack equivalent, extrapolated)
