Steel-Belted Radius Mobile IP Module offers:

Full-function RADIUS/AAA server: The SBR Mobile IP Module is a full-function server with proven reliability and scalability. It supports 3GPP2-defined requirements for CDMA operators and reliably manages IP addresses for mobile IP services.
Authentication and service delivery management: The SBR MIM manages authentication and service deliver on CDMA networks and " facilitates seamless roaming, allowing subscribers to roam while maintaining a single IP address. Connections can be configured to distribute MIP-tunneled traffic across multiple home agent devices.
Support for latest requirements: The SBR MIM delivers IS 835 B, C, and D support for CDMA 1x RTT networks as the home AAA server. it supports HRPD network specifications for EV-DO services as the access-network AAA server. The SBR MIM can function as both HAAA and AN-AAA with a single deployment.

Installing the SBR Series server software requires at least 234 megabytes of local (not NFS) disk space.

Database (optional)
The Solaris version of Steel-Belted Radius supports any SQL database server that is Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) compliant for RADIUS authentication and accounting. Although Oracle versions 8.0.0 and 9.0.0 are supported, versions 8.1.7 and 9.2.0 are recommended.
