Juniper Networks Wins Three Information Security Magazine and SearchSecurity.com Readers' Choice Awards
Juniper’s Best-In-Class Security Solutions Win in Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Network Access Control and Remote Access Categories
SUNNYVALE, Calif., September 22, 2009 – Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, announced it was selected as a winner in the Information Security™ magazine and SearchSecurity.com™ 2009 Readers’ Choice Awards in three security product categories:
- Juniper Networks IDP Series Intrusion Detection and Prevention Appliances won top honors as the 2009 Readers’ Choice Award winner in the Intrusion Prevention and Detection category;
- Juniper Networks Unified Access Control also won top honors as the 2009 Readers’ Choice Award winner in the Network Access Control (NAC) category; and
- Juniper Networks SA Series SSL VPN Appliances received the Silver Award in the Secure Remote Access category.
The Information Security magazine and SearchSecurity.com 2009 Readers’ Choice Award winners were selected based on extensive, in-depth discussions and interviews between the editors of Information Security magazine and SearchSecurity.com and over 1,700 information security executives and managers, who were asked to assess and rate products deployed within their organizations from a listing of more than 380 products spanning 17 product categories. The judging panel then selected Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners for the industry’s best security products.
