Juniper Networks monitors its compliance with local and international laws to maintain its status as a responsible corporate citizen in all locations world-wide in which it operates. Juniper reviews its practices and procedures regularly to address the changing circumstances in the environmental arena, and continually improve our performance to meet these changes.
The company provides recycling support for its equipment to meet the European Union's (EU) Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and is planning to expand this support worldwide at a future date. Products put on the market after 13 August 2005 have been marked with or documented by the use of a crossed out wheeled bin with a bar underneath. For recycling information, please complete the WEEE contact form, or contact us at environmental-relations@juniper.net.
Products returned through our reclamation process will be recycled, recovered or disposed of in a responsible manner utilizing an ISO 14001 certified supplier. Our packaging is designed to be recycled and should be handled in accordance with the local, state or country recycling policies and procedures.
Subject to limited exemptions available for its products, Juniper Networks, Inc. has already eliminated or reduced below legal limits its usage of the substances controlled under the European Union's (EU) Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. We continue to improve our products designs to meet the changing environmental requirements through the implementation of Design for Environment (DfE) practices.
