Companies around the world have embraced green technology to drive projects and develop products aimed at boosting energy efficiency, trimming waste, and reducing or eliminating the use or the production of harmful substances. The InfoWorld Green 15 awards recognize the 15 most innovative IT initiatives that fall under this umbrella of sustainability. |

Certified a Green Business by Santa Clara County, which is where the company's headquarters are located, in May of 2006. |

The T1600 has been shortlisted for the European IT Green Awards as a finalist in the New Green IT product by an established vendor category. |

The Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) is administered by the California Integrated Waste Management Board. WRAP recognizes California businesses for outstanding waste reduction efforts. Juniper Networks has consistently demonstrated commitment to environmentally responsible behavior with an extensive recycling program, recycled-content purchasing, and resource conservation. Juniper Networks diverted over 400,000 lbs of recyclable material from the landfill. Energy star rated multi-function printers are one of the tools used to reduce paper consumption. Juniper Networks Energy Conservation initiative and Alternate Commute Program are two more examples of resource conservation. |
