After much anticipation, Juniper Networks has raised the high-speed routing stakes with its M40 Internet router. With many industry insiders watching closely, the promising start-up (which includes several former employees from Cisco, 3Com, and Bay Networks), has, by most accounts, succeeded in its core mission: delivering a scalable, high-performance router specifically designed for the Internet with built-in QoS, redundancy, and management.
