In September 1998, after extensive field testing of our JUNOS Internet software, we began shipping our first product, the M40 router, with volume shipments beginning in October 1998. The M20 router began shipping in December 1999; the M160 router began shipping in March 2000; the M5 and M10 routers began shipping in September 2000; the M40e router began shipping in February; the GGSN and G10 CMTS began shipping in March 2002; the T320 and T640 router began shipping in April 2002; and the G1 CMTS began shipping in October 2002. The ERX Product Family, also tested extensively in the field, began shipping in September 1999 and the SDX-300 Service Deployment System began shipping in May 2000. The Session Border Controller VF series began shipping in 2001. The WAN Optimization WX series began shipping in summer of 2001. The Application Front End DX series began shipping in the winter of 2002.
