Junos Content* is a portfolio of content caching and content delivery products designed to help customers deliver rich media web and video content more efficiently and profitably. As consumer demand for over-the-top (OTT) content and applications continues to grow, network operators strive to optimize their networks for the efficient delivery and distribution of this content to help drive down costs. Optimize: with transparent caching capabilities, Junos Content Encore can intelligently cache and deliver popular content from within your network. Caching and delivering content locally off-loads transit or WAN links, lowering network costs, and also improves quality of experience for end-users.
Monetize: Junos Content products can enable the introduction of innovative new services based on the delivery of video and other rich media to consumers. For example, customers have used Junos Content Encore to introduce exciting next-generation video services leveraging adaptive streaming.

Junos Content Encore is a high-performance caching and intelligent content delivery system that enables customers to optimize their networks for efficient and profitable delivery of rich media content like video. Junos Content Encore is offered on a variety of hardware and software platforms to enable flexible deployment options.

Junos Content Composer

Juniper Networks Junos Content Composer is an optional application that runs on top of Junos Content Encore and performs adaptive stream segmentation, stream packaging, metadata publishing, and adaptive stream format translation. Content Composer enables network operators and content providers to leverage and extend their existing TV and video encoding infrastructure for adaptive stream production, eliminating the need for specialized encoders and servers.

Junos Space Content Director

Junos Space Content Director simplifies the configuration and deployment of Juniper Networks Junos Content products, enabling rapid service creation and provisioning by service providers. Content Director runs on the Junos Space platform, which provides scalability and high availability for uninterrupted service management. It supports APIs for building custom applications such as self-provisioning portal.

Application Services Modular Line Card

The Application Services Modular Line Card offers integrated application services solutions for the MX Series 3D Universal Edge routers. The combination of x86 processing with Juniper's Trio chipset creates a platform that can adapt a wide variety of applications to the Juniper high performance data plane. The AS-MLC is designed to deliver high application throughput and supports large scale solid state storage needed for content delivery applications such as Juniper's Junos Content Encore system.
