AUCKLAND, New Zealand, Dec. 12, 2011– Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR), the industry leader in network innovation, today announced that CallPlus Services Ltd has established a nationwide MPLS network infrastructure running on the Juniper Networks® Junos® operating system. Deployment of Juniper Networks MX80 3D Universal Edge Routers installed at its 24 points-of-presence around New Zealand plus one in Sydney positions CallPlus to offer a wider range of customer-focused services while reducing its operating costs.
As a long-standing proponent of open access within New Zealand's telecommunications services market, CallPlus is intent on seizing the opportunities that will be created by the roll-out of the national Ultra-Fast Broadband and Rural Broadband initiatives, which will transform the way that New Zealanders communicate.
